How to dress
Keep it simple and modest. A basic, solid top with basic or no accessories is my preference. White or a dark color is classic. Button downs, collared shirts and neon bright colors are NOT preferred. A simple black t-shirt and jeans have always worked. If you can get anywhere close to that, I'll take it.
Depending on your time available, we can definitely work in a second or third outfit of your choice.
Hair makeup and Nails
Have a full hair routine the morning of the shoot. Two or three day old hair for a photo shoot is a myth. Straight or natural waves are a preference. No heavy products. Hair will be down for most of the shoot. Maybe bring an accessory or two to pull hair back off the face for a few shots. Definitely bring a brush to reset during breaks.
Light to no makeup is good for a first shoot. My preference favors a more natural look. These will be high resolution photos with the occasional up close shot. Light makeup works well. Again, depending on your stay, we can accommodate other makeup ideas later in the day.
Schedule to have nails done a day or two before a shoot. Unkempt nails can spoil a good photo. A natural, manicured look is best. Your color choice should accent everything else but not distract.
Four Essentials
Be clean. Be rested. Be fed. Be positive.
Basically, bring your best YOU to a photo shoot. Looking and BEING your best begins days before the date of the shoot.

Thank you, Krissa!
